Adrenal Health & Function Test
Test 4 key biomarkers linked to overall adrenal health & function
This tests measures Cortisol, DHEA-S (Dehydroepiandrosterone Sulfate) & Visceral Fat with a simple finger-prick blood test.
All testing performed in:

What Biomarkers Are Measured?

Cortisol
Cortisol is widely known as the “stress hormone.” Aside from regulating your body’s stress response, it controls metabolism and regulates blood sugars.

DHEA-S
Our body converts DHEA-S into androgens (testosterone and androstenedione) and estrogen. DHEA-S is critical for the development of testosterone and estrogen during puberty and for reproduction in all sexes.

DHEA-S:Cortisol Ratio
Represents your anabolic/catabolic imbalance. Since DHEA-S is an anabolic hormone that inhibits the catabolic effects of cortisol, this calculation can estimate the HPA axis dysfunction (Hypothalamus-Pituitary-Adrenal).

Visceral Fat
Visceral Fat is stored around your internal organs, including your heart, liver and intestines. Visceral fat makes chemicals and hormones that can be toxic to the body.
